Branch Training Times - February 2013
Updated 12/02/13
We are pleased to inform students that Saturday Little Dragons classes will resume from Saturday the 16th of February 2013 under Sijie Thu Vo. Please ensure that you bring your student card so that you may be credited for any training missed due to the temporary closure.
We are still working on resuming weeknight classes for adults. Students affected may either:
- Wait until training recommences at the Branch and receive credit for any training paid for but not received due to the closure; or
- Transfer to another Branch or Sydney HQ.
Please contact Sydney HQ if you would like to transfer to another Branch or Sydney HQ. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
The Academy's Westmead branch opened in 1986 and was the Academy's first suburban branch in NSW. Martial arts and self defence training is conducted in the Westmead Scout Hall, which is just 15 minutes' walk from the train station.
Westmead branch offers General Classes to men, women and children (teenagers and above), as well as a special Little Dragons class for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old inclusive.
This branch is convenient for those living in and around Northmead, Old Toongabbie, Wentworthville, Mays Hill, Parramatta and North Parramatta.
Training is conducted just inside the front doors of the Scout Hall.
The Westmead branch is about 15 minutes' walk southeast of the Westmead Railway Station. There is a bus stop just outside the branch on Good St near Mimosa St, as well as plenty of on-street parking nearby.
