'Administration Officer' Job Outline

The Academy is offering one successful applicant the opportunity to start an exciting new career in the martial arts industry under one of Australia’s leading martial arts schools.

As the Academy’s full-time Administration Officer, your responsibilities will include business administration, sales, handling of enquiries, maintaining customer relationships and teaching some Wing Chun classes. Place of Employment

The Administration Officer will work at the Academy's Sydney HQ at 1/355 Sussex St, Sydney.

Job Hours and Remuneration

Mode of Employment: Full-time; 38 hours per week. All applicable entitlements, such as public holidays, annual leave, sick leave, etc. stipulated by the Fitness Industry Award 2010 and National Employment Standards apply.

Remuneration: The Academy is offering an hourly rate above the applicable award rate (Fitness Industry Award 2010), as well as compulsory superannuation. Exact remuneration rate available upon application.

Other Bonuses: Free Wing Chun training outside of your working hours for the duration of your employment. Discretionary performance-based bonuses.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Passion for Wing Chun and excellent people skills (required)
  • Academy-issued Trainee Instructor or Instructor qualifications (required)
  • Computer and word-processing skills (required)
  • Prior experience in sales and business administration (preferred)

An individual who performs well in this role may be considered for future promotion in the Academy.
