The Academy's Maroubra branch opened in 1994. Martial arts and self defence training is held in the hall behind the Uniting Church, which is located in the middle of the Maroubra shopping district. There is a bus station nearby.
Maroubra branch offers General Classes to men, women and children (teenagers and above), as well as a special Little Dragons class for children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old inclusive.
This branch is convenient for those living in and around Randwick, Coogee, Malabar, Matraville, Eastgardens and Kingsford.
Training is conducted in a hall at the back-right of the church.
There is a bus stop just outside the church on Anzac Parade and plenty of on-street parking nearby.
