The International Wing Chun Academy is now accepting enrolments for its Certificates II to IV in Sport (Coaching) specialising in the unique training programme of Grandmaster Jim Fung's Wing Chun Kung Fu™.
These qualifications are unique as students not only acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to establish themselves as leaders in the martial arts, sport coaching, health and fitness industries, but also receive the bonus of valuable and highly effective self defence skills in Grandmaster Jim Fung's Wing Chun Kung Fu™.
Among the fascinating subjects on the curriculum are sport psychology, training for peak performance, industry knowledge, first aid and sport law, along with the unique training programme and Grading System of Grandmaster Jim Fung's Wing Chun Kung Fu™.
Course outcomes include eligibility for positions in the health, fitness, security and other related fields, along with the opportunity to set up as an Affiliated School of the Academy and be licensed to teach Grandmaster Jim Fung's Wing Chun Kung Fu™.
Students from all over the world have travelled to Australia to study with the Academy since it became Australia’s first martial arts school to offer Nationally Recognised Training at approved tertiary (vocational) level in 1989.
New students may enrol now to commence the course in Term 2 on the 11th of April, 2011.

New Certificate II and III in Sport (Coaching) Courses
The Academy's new Certificate II and III in Sport (Coaching) Courses which commence on the 11th of April, 2011 are now being offered as streamlined and intensified six-month courses.
These streamlined courses are now being offered to International Students in Adelaide and Australian Students in Sydney and Adelaide. They are also Austudy, Abstudy and Centrelink approved.
Information on these courses will be presented at the Information Days and there will be a Q&A session for all interested applicants.

New Affiliated Schools Programme
Under the Academy's brand new Affiliated Schools Programme, course graduates who have attained Level 1 Standard are eligible to apply to license Grandmaster Jim Fung's Wing Chun Kung Fu™ and reap the benefits of association with a respected and professional organisation which has been operating in Australia successfully for more than 38 years.
The success of the Affiliated Schools Programme has already been enjoyed by Scott Bollard Wing Chun Kung Fu, the first Affiliated School to open under the new programme. Within its first month of operation in January 2011, Scott Bollard Wing Chun Kung Fu, which conducts classes on Tuesday and Thursday nights in Miranda, NSW, recruited over 30 students.

Information days will be conducted at the Academy’s Sydney and freshly refurbished Adelaide schools on Saturday, the 19th of March, 2011.
