A student’s ‘Journey in Wing Chun’ is the theme of the International Wing Chun Academy’s 37th Anniversary Open Day celebrations in Sydney, Gold Coast and Adelaide on Saturday, the 18th of September 2010.
Dynamic live demonstrations of Grandmaster Jim Fung’s Wing Chun Kung Fu™ system, Chinese cultural entertainment and free hands-on workshops with the Academy’s Chief Instructors are some of the highlights of this year’s celebrations.

Open Day Date, Time and Location
The Open Day will be held at the Sydney, Gold Coast and Adelaide Headquarters of the International Wing Chun Academy on Saturday, the 18th of September 2010.
Two ‘sessions’ will be held; the first starting at 10:30am and the second at 1:00pm.
Sydney HQ: 1st Floor 355 Sussex St, Sydney (click for map)

Open Day Format
Both the 10:30am and 1:00pm sessions will have the following format:
- Chinese cultural entertainment
- Introduction to the Academy and its courses
- Live demonstrations of Wing Chun Kung Fu
- Hands-on workshops with the Chief Instructors
Throughout the day, the Academy’s Accredited Course Representatives will conduct small group information sessions for students who are interested in enrolling in the Academy’s highly exciting and rewarding Certificate II to IV in Sport (Coaching) courses. Enrolments will be accepted for Term 4 2010 (commencing on the 4th of October) and Term 1 2011 of the Academy’s Certificate courses.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to enrol in the Academy’s casual self defence courses on the day.
Martial arts, health and fitness enthusiasts are encouraged to come to both sessions of the Open Day, which are bound to be great fun and highly informative.
Open Day Admission
Admission to the Open Day is free!
All attendees are encouraged to experience the amazing art of Wing Chun Kung Fu for themselves during the hands-on workshops. Please bring comfortable clothing (i.e. gym clothes) and socks.
