Free Women's Self Defence Workshop

Celebrate International Women's Day in 2021 by joining our FREE 75-minute self-defence workshop for women and girls aged 15 years and up.

Our all-female team of trainers will teach you powerful self-defence skills that you can learn to apply immediately.

Workshop Details

When and Where?

Monday the 8th of March 2021
From 7:00pm to 8:15pm (Arrive at 6:45pm)

International Wing Chun Academy

Workshop Registration

This workshop is FREE for all women and girls aged 15 years and up.

As our venue has a limited capacity, we have implemented a registration system to ensure that the workshop is not attended beyond capacity.

Spaces are limited, so please register now to avoid missing out!

You must register to attend even if you are a current student of ours.

What to Bring?

  • Comfortable, non-restrictive clothing (e.g. gym wear)
  • Socks (important!)
  • A towel
  • A padlock to use our free locker facilities

All jewellery must be removed for safety reasons.

Women's changeroom facilities are available.

What to Do on the Night?

Arrive at 6:45pm for check-in and orientation. We'll check to see if you're on our list of attendees and provide you with a sticker to identify yourself.

Format

Our trainers will take you through a cardio warm-up, followed by a hands-on workshop that accords with our COVID-Safe protocols. You'll get a chance to partner up with another attendee to safely practise the skills being taught. Protective equipment will be provided where necessary.

This workshop is suitable for absolute beginners - our trainers will teach you how to safely punch, kick and hold the protective equipment for your training partner.

All protective equipment will be provided.
