Free Self Defence Workshop for Women

Join our Free Women's Self Defence Workshop at Sydney HQ!

According to the United Nations, 1 in 3 women around the world will experience violence in their lifetime. In New South Wales alone, 28,780 women were victims of family and domestic violence-related assault last year.

In support of International Women's Day, we'd like to teach women and girls how to avoid falling victim to violence through a free 1 hour self defence workshop at the International Wing Chun Academy in Sydney.

We'll teach you some basic skills to help you deter potential attackers, but - most importantly - we'll show you how to quickly and effectively defend yourself against someone who doesn't take 'NO' for an answer.

Our workshop will be based on the world renowned system of Grandmaster Jim Fung's Wing Chun Kung Fu®, a martial art originally invented by a woman. Some of our most experienced trainers will be present to guide you through the workshop, including Senior Instructors Tristan and Michiko, assisted by Sijie Laura and a number of our women trainers.
