Tristan said: “It’s incredibly important for me to keep the Academy going, not only because it’s my father’s life work and home to many senior instructors, but because I’m maintaining a traditional Chinese art.”
He said Wing Chun went against the stereotypes of most martial arts. “We are not aggressive, thuggish or violent. My father had strong moral and ethical values and taught his students to only use Wing Chun in self-defence if absolutely necessary.”
