The Academy is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to fulfil the Front Desk role at the International Wing Chun Academy’s Sydney HQ on weekdays.

 

Role Outline

The Front Desk role involves offering excellent customer service to the Academy’s clientele, selling Wing Chun training packages and merchandise, answering enquiries, and performing basic administrative tasks, office duties and data entry. The role may also involve Wing Chun instruction.

 

Commencement Date, Working Hours, Remuneration and Bonuses

Commencement Date: Monday 11th November 2013 for an initial trial term of 3 months, reviewed every 6 months thereafter.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 4:15pm to 8:15pm (20 hours per week)

Remuneration: The Academy is offering a casual hourly rate above the applicable award rate (Fitness Industry Award 2010), as well as superannuation and the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses. Exact remuneration rate available upon application.

Other Bonuses: As a staff member of the Academy, you will be entitled to train free of charge in classes outside of your working hours for the duration of your employment.

 

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Passion for Wing Chun and excellent people skills (required)
  • Computer and word-processing skills (required)
  • Prior sales and marketing experience (preferred, not required)
  • Experience with cash handling (preferred, not required)
  • Trainee Instructor or Instructor experience (preferred and a big plus, but not required)
